Mr Dynamite

SoO... about the book. I actually like Mr Dynamite. I wasn't quite sure at first because the guy seems a little crazy, but it's pretty cool. I like the fact that it's written as a continuous thought because it keeps you interested. You can't just stop reading when he's in the middle of something because you want to know where it ends. Surprise! It keeps going...forever.

Out of the Darkness

Every 16 minutes in the United States, someone dies by suicide. SUNY Potsdam will be hosting an Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Saturday, November 3rd to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. The walk begins and ends at the SUNY Potsdam Barrington Student Union. Registration is at 1p.m. and the walk starts at 2 p.m. Sarah Mack, the co-organizer of the event, says, "The main goal is to support AFSP's research and educational programs to prevent suicide and save lives, increase national awareness about depression and suicide and assist survivors of suicide loss. Our hope is to bring a large number of students, faculty, staff, administrators and community members throughout the region together to support awareness and prevention of suicide."
